Spring Break... here we come!

With Easter just around the corner- the children are having major spring fever! The weather is getting somewhat warmer- J keeps asking why we can't go swimming! A is very much into March Madness! He was slightly upset last night when his Tigers lost ;(~~~
A has spring break this week (J doesn't have it for 2 more weeks) so J and I are getting a long break. I figured it up and we will be in school 4 days over the next 3 weeks. I hope that it stays warm so we can burn up the daylight as much as possible. The boys were shooting hoops today and A was pretty much hitting every shot. J was somewhat discouraged and we told him to keep practicing. He got a step stool out of the house and figured out how to start making a few baskets himself. Nothing pumps you up more than keeping up with big brother! We did have a slight bump in the road- J was perched on top of the four wheeler (no it was not running- has a dead battery) in the garage. I am not sure how he did it- but fell backwards. He scraped his back and has a nice bruise on his shoulder. He kept telling me he cracked his head wide open! No blood, no foul as daddy would say. What got me worse than anything was when he fell he was crying for his daddy! I think it's all starting to sink in- but time will tell. We've all gotten a little spoiled being able to contact him as we need/want. He has plans to head home in a couple of weeks. YIPEE!
Well A is running a slight fever and has asked to go to bed.... he must be sick- or else he is tired and is afraid the Easter bunny won't hop in if he's still up. They've had a pretty busy day. Easter egg hunt this am, basketball fun all afternoon and we just got back from playing on the playground at Chick-fil-a. We should all call it a day and have a fun filled Easter tomorrow.
